Established in 1955, the Michigan Amputee Golf Association has been conducting tournaments and encouraging participation for hundreds of amputee golfers in the Midwest. Even though a golfer may be disabled, he or she can still enjoy the camaraderie, competition, and enjoyment the great game of golf can provide.

The MAGA is also a catalyst in introducing amputees to the game as well. This great game can be a valuable tool in building confidence and self-esteem, and probably most importantly, simply providing enjoyment to amputee golfers. The MAGA has been there for 64 years for all amputees who love the game or would like to be introduced to the game!
