BORP Adaptive Sports and Recreation
BORP Adaptive Sports & Recreation is the Bay Area’s leading provider of community-based adaptive sports, fitness, and recreation. Founded in 1976 by people with disabilities, BORP has served as a pioneer and national model in the field of adaptive sports for nearly 50 years. Our mission is to empower youth and adults with physical and visual disabilities through programs that foster independence, health, and belonging. We operate more than 20 weekly programs, including adaptive cycling, wheelchair basketball, kayaking, climbing, fitness classes, and nature-based outings.
