During this camp athletes will explore the Front Range through a variety of outdoor recreation experiences including kayaking/paddle boarding, archery, outdoor rock climbing, and white-water paddling. At the National Sports Center for the Disabled we rethink ability through personal challenge in the enriching atmosphere of the outdoors. Through these experiences participants can learn important lessons about themselves and others, find new healthy hobbies/activities, increase their overall fitness/quality of life, and meet new friends and have fun.
Location: Meet at the NSCD Adaptive Program Center at Jefferson County Fairgrounds, transportation to and from the day’s venue provided. Venues vary across the Front Range depending on the day’s activity.
Price: $399
Age Requirements: 8+
* Please note: Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and water.
* Maximum water equipment weight limit is 250 lbs.
* If the minimum number of campers is not met 7 days prior to a camp, the camp will be canceled.
