Join Adaptive Athletics Association, Ability First Sports, and Chico Racquet Club for a fun-filled day of wheelchair tennis, community, and inclusion on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Chico Racquet Club.
Whether you're brand new to wheelchair tennis or have experience on the court, this event is designed for participants of all ages and skill levels. Former Team USA wheelchair tennis player and Adaptive Athletics Association President Marty Anderson will lead instruction throughout the day, sharing techniques, strategies, and encouragement in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Participants will enjoy:
Wheelchair tennis instruction and skill development
Fun drills and interactive games
Opportunities to meet and connect with fellow athletes and families
A welcoming atmosphere focused on inclusion and camaraderie
Refreshments and lunch provided for all attendees
This special collaboration between Adaptive Athletics Association, Ability First Sports, and Chico Racquet Club aims to introduce more people to the sport of wheelchair tennis while creating meaningful opportunities for recreation, friendship, and personal growth.
