Exciting Opportunity: Free Registration for Wheelchair Tennis Camp!

Hi, I’m Noel Jorgensen, President of the Piedmont Area Tennis Association (PATA), the community tennis association dedicated to making tennis accessible to all in Central Virginia.

We offer both able-bodied and wheelchair tennis events and clinics and are proud to own 4 sports chairs available for anyone interested in trying this incredible sport.

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming 5th Annual David Wagner Wheelchair Tennis Camp hosted at Boar’s Head Sport’s Club and led by internationally ranked player David Wagner. This camp is a fantastic opportunity for players of all levels to learn and grow in wheelchair tennis.

Details:

• Dates: Friday, August 8th (starting at 5 pm) to Sunday, August 10th (ending at 3 pm)
• Location: Boar’s Head Sports Club, Charlottesville, VA
• Cost: Free registration (PATA funds and runs the camp)

This camp will bring together players from across the country, including Richmond, Maryland, and beyond—usually around 20 players. It’s a fantastic chance to meet new people, make new connections, and improve your skills in a supportive environment.

We’d love to see JTCC players and anyone interested in wheelchair tennis, whether you’re a junior or an adult. Please share this with anyone who might be interested!
