We are excited to welcome you to the 2026 Midwest Wheelchair Tennis Championship (MWTC) in Grand Rapids, Michigan!

Women’s Open Division – 12 FREE Entries

Thanks to the generosity of a Mary Free Bed donor, MWTC is offering 12 FREE entries into the Women’s Open Singles and Doubles Division for the 2026 tournament (July 10–12, 2026).
Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transportation:
Shuttle service will be available from GRR airport to host hotels beginning Thursday morning through the end of the tournament.

Facility Policies:
Only working service dogs are allowed on MVP property.
No smoking or vaping on MVP property.

Scoring Format

  • Singles: Two tiebreak sets, 10-point match tiebreak at one set all (main draw & consolation), regular scoring
  • Doubles: Two tiebreak sets, 10-point match tiebreak at one set all, regular scoring
  • Doubles is single elimination
  • 5-minute warm-up

The MWTC will use Wilson US Open Tennis Balls.

  • 3:00 PM – Check-in Opens
  • 3:00–6:00 PM – Practice Courts Open
  • 6:00–8:00 PM – Up/Down Social (Tennis & Dinner)

Friday, July 10

  • 8:00 AM – Check-in & Practice Courts Open
  • 9:00 AM – Play Begins
  • 11:00 AM–2:00 PM – Around Baking Company Food Truck (including Vegan & Gluten-Free options)
  • 4:30 PM – Dinner Arrives
  • 4:00–6:00 PM – FREE Kids Clinic hosted by USTA Professional

Saturday, July 11

  • 8:00 AM – Practice Courts Open
  • 9:00 AM – Play Begins
  • 11:30 AM – Lunch (Chick-fil-A)
  • 6:00–9:00 PM – Player Party at Host Hotel (Catered by Uccello’s Italian Restaurant)

Sunday, July 12

  • 8:00 AM – Practice Courts Open
  • 11:00 AM – Lunch Arrives
