"SAFE PLAY" IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COACHES ATTENDING THE TOURNAMENT:
Please be advised that if you plan to bring your coach with you, he/she MUST be Safe Play Approved through the end of the Tournament in order to have access to practice areas such as practice courts. You can check if your coach is Safe Play Approved by visiting SafePlay. If they are not Safe Play Approved, please ensure they complete the process ASAP by visiting www.usta.com/safeplay. Please note - Safesport training is 90 min long and and full approval can take up to 5 days. Please contact safeplay@usta.com if you have any questions.
Coach Registration Form: All coaches must be SafePlay approved in order to access practice courts. SAFE PLAY APPROVAL includes completing SafeSport training, acknowledging the USTA Safe Play Policy, which includes reporting requirements and a criminal background check. Please complete the following form to not. Safe Play Requirements for Player Coaches
All Coaches (including Parent Coaches) Will Be Given a Coach Wristband by the Tournament During Registration
• Non-Parent Coaches. Unless a player’s coach is that player’s parent or legal guardian, the coach must be Safe Play Approved in order to coach at the tournament, otherwise that coach will only be permitted to attend the tournament as a spectator. See information below on getting Safe Play approved.
• Parent Coaches. If the parent/legal guardian of a player intends to hit with their own player on a practice court or speak to their own player during the 10-minute period for coaching before a 3rd set, the parent/legal guardian is considered a “Coach” and their name needs to be submitted using the link below. Safe Play is not required, but highly recommended.
• Parent Coaches & Doubles Partners. If the parent/legal guardian of a player intends speak to their player’s doubles partner during the 10-minute period for coaching before a 3rd set or hit with the partner on a practice court, the coach must be Safe Play approved - see below for information on getting Safe Play approved

If they are not listed as Safe Play Approved, please have the coach complete the process by visiting www.usta.com/safeplay and selecting “Get Approved.”
Safe Play Approval includes:
• Completing SafeSport training (a 90-minute online course)
• Acknowledging the USTA Safe Play Policy which includes reporting requirements; and
• A criminal background check.
